The Space

This unique home started as a 40' shipping container! It's been fully modernized and makes for an unforgettable stay.

You'll love the rooftop deck; it's softly lit and is a beautiful place to enjoy pasture views with a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

Inside you'll find all the modern amenities for your trip to Waco-- a smart TV with seating space, a plush Queen-sized bed, a functional kitchenette with coffee, and a full-sized bathroom with custom tiled shower. Fun fact: 100+ year-old reclaimed barn wood was used for trim to bring in some old-world character.

And when you’re ready to get active, head to our brand-new pickleball court!

Everything at Homestead Heritage—Cafe Homestead, Homestead coffee roasting, and the Homestead Craft Village—is just a short walk away. There's so much to do, eat, learn, and see while you're here.

We can't wait to share this space with you!

In the bedroom there's a modest closet space for hanging your clothes and setting your luggage.

Enjoy a few pickleball games while you're here! The court is a 1-minute walk from the front door. Paddles and balls are provided for you in a box beside the court.

The kitchen features an under-counter refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker with coffee, creamer, and sugar provided. Cups, mugs, bowls, utensils, and the other essentials are also provided for you!

Keurig coffee maker, coffee, creamer, and sugar are provided. If you prefer, walk over to Heritage Coffee Roasters for a fresh roasted cup in a jaw-dropping space.

The living room is filled with natural light, it's a great place to get comfortable. Cozy pillows, a throw blanket, and a 42" Roku Enabled TV all make for a great environment for relaxing with your favorite streaming services.

We've used barn-style cedar doors and ceiling beams throughout the interior, we love how they warm up the space.

We love the moody color in the bathroom. Fresh towels, soaps, shampoo, makeup wipes, and conditioner are also provided.

The bathroom is surprisingly roomy, including full-sized fixtures and tiled shower.

Soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup removal towels, and various other amenities are provided!

Pecan Grove features a comfortable queen sized bed with pristine linens. Extra pillows and blankets are provided as well.

We love the comfy bed in this space and bed-side sconce lighting. The headboard was custom built with reclaimed lumber.

In the bedroom there's a cozy Queen Tuft and Needle Mattress with extra pillows and blankets provided should you need them.

At the kitchenette there is a sitting bar and two barstools, and you'll always have coffee provided for your stay.

The outside of the container home is clad with aged cedar. Exterior lights and roof-top cafe lights give the front a welcoming glow.

This fence is right outside your front door. In the background you can see the Waco Waffle Company, Heritage Coffee shop, and the Homestead Heritage Cafe (full restaurant we highly recommend!) All within a 2-3 minute walk.

Cafe Homestead is a fantastic restaurant (just check out it's online reviews) and is just a 2-3 minute walk from our place. They serve fresh, natural food true to the setting at Homestead Heritage, a traditional farming community! Everything is good!

Who doesn't love a rooftop deck? It's all about the views up there, overlooks a stock pond and pasture.
