Founded in 1993, Country Roads has been owned and operated by Martha Tamblyn since 1999. Over the last number of years Martha has expanded the range of properties offered and developed an extensive network of knowledgeable colleagues. As the business has grown so has the size of our staff and we are now a team of four.
Martha's commitment to quality is unsurpassed, due in large part to her lifelong interest in travel and other cultures. It was the rental of a property in France in 1986 that first opened her eyes to the stimulating experience of renting a home in Europe and being truly immersed in the local culture.
Martha has gained valuable expertise being a member of Toronto's Royal Ontario Museum Travel Committee for 20 years, a volunteer group that provides well-regarded trips around the world.
A travel expert who loves client interaction, Martha enjoys sharing her intricate knowledge of Europe with other travellers. Through personal experience, frequent inspection trips, worldwide contacts and extensive research, Martha and her colleagues provide superior service and unique insight to Country Roads clients.
